Cryotherapy Therapy
Effective treatment for common skin lesions
Cryotherapy is a simple and effective treatment that uses liquid nitrogen to freeze and destroy abnormal skin cells. It’s often used for a range of non-cancerous skin conditions and can be carried out quickly with minimal downtime.

What can cryotherapy treat?
We use cryotherapy to treat a number of common skin conditions, including:
• Viral warts
• Seborrheic warts (seborrheic keratoses)
• Skin tags
• Areas of sun damage known as actinic keratoses

What to expect
We offer a 30-minute initial consultation (£130) with one of our experienced GPs to:
• Assess the area(s) of concern
• Confirm a diagnosis
• Discuss whether cryotherapy is the most suitable treatment
• Carry out treatment during the same appointment, if appropriate
If cryotherapy is carried out at the time of consultation, an additional £55 treatment fee will apply.

Follow-up treatments
In some cases, a second treatment may be needed for the same lesion. If so, we’ll book you a 15-minute follow-up appointment (£99).

When cryotherapy isn’t suitable
If we assess that cryotherapy isn’t the most effective option, we’ll discuss alternative treatments with you. We work closely with Avocet Medical, our trusted partner for minor surgical procedures, and can refer you directly if needed.
