Our mole check service is led by experienced GPs who also work within the dermatology team at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital. You’ll receive expert clinical assessment in a discreet and comfortable setting, with rapid access and clear follow-up advice.

We offer comprehensive mole and skin assessments for anyone with concerns about a specific mole, skin lesion, or general sun damage. Our aim is to provide reassurance, early identification of any issues, and access to treatment where appropriate.

If the clinician identifies a mole or lesion that requires further assessment or treatment, we will:

Offer onward referral to your NHS GP or a private consultant for biopsy or specialist review

Discuss treatment options that can be provided in-house, including:

Cryotherapy for suitable benign lesions such as skin tags, warts, or seborrhoeic keratoses

Minor surgical removal, subject to clinical assessment
